  • Poster and presentation title: “Present-day sedimentary processes on the shelves of volcanic ocean islands: the case study of the southern shelf of Porto Santo Island (Madeira Archipelago)”. Winner of the awards for the best image (ex aequo) and the best video related to marine geology. Poster on the “XXI International Union for Quaternary research (INQUA23)” congress in Rome (IT), 14-20 July 2023. Poster title: “The case study of Corvo Island (Azores Archipelago) as a key for understanding the shelf formation of ocean volcanic islands”. I also took part of the congress organization as a volunteer.
